Panasonic PVGS500 3CCDOur secondary camera the Panasonic GS500 produces great video quality. It has all the needed pro-level features, a Leica Dicomar zoomlens and enffective optical stabilizer. Of course like the Sony it can produce standard (4:3) and widescreen (16:9) footage, and has 3CCDs for superior color. Dual Core Intel iMacOur editing station is a fully loaded 2GHZ Intel Dual Core iMac with 2 GB RAM and 2 TB of Harddisk. The main software we use to edit the movies is Final Cut Pro although we ocasionally use other programs as well. Since the Mac itself is a completely integrated computer that secure, stable, and powerful - this reflects very much in our end products. |
Other EquipmentWe use dependable and quickly adjustable Bogen Manfrotto tripods and heads, as well as a Gitzo G2380 video head, which provides exceptionally smooth 360 degree pans and full tilts as well as an ultra quick release and mount. For recording great sound we use an Azden wireless system, several Sony and Azden microphones and digital recorders, of course we can also plug into a sound engineer's mixing board, and amplifier or any other audio source. To convert video we use a Canopus ADVC 110. |
